Job Title: Senior Product Marketing Manager

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies. In this role, the individual will help Bloom Energy market its solution offering, run lead generation and awareness campaigns, and integrate seamlessly with our stellar sales organization. The position reports to the Director of Product Marketing in one of the fastest growing areas of the company.

Location: This position will be based in Sunnyvale, CA

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute deal strategies jointly with sales to drive new business
• Lead customer and other external stakeholder meetings
• Manage channel partner relationships and oversee the channel sales funnel
• Manage pricing activities and customer value analysis based on financial analysis
• Lead contractual discussions with customers on pricing and product parameters
• Develop and deliver external messaging for media, analysts and other stakeholders
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative market analysis including prioritizing potential markets, segments and customers
• Develop strategies for new market and customer segment penetration in the US and in international markets
• Work cross functionally and collaboratively with Bloom’s sales, product development, business development and finance teams

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of product marketing, product management, business development and/or sales experience
• Electricity/Energy sector experience required
• Track record of leading organizations to rapid revenue growth through sales enablement
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Ability to take complicated technical concepts and translate to a general audience in a compelling, succinct manner
• Passion to be part of a team with goals to change the way the world’s energy is produced, distributed and consumed
• Drive for quick results with vision to see how long term strategies must unfold
• Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
• A strong desire to challenge and change the status quo
• Stability and staying power
• Strong desire for success and significance
• Educational background that includes top tier institutions
• Bachelor’s degree required, a top-tier MBA is highly preferred
