
Environmental Engineer-Technology Solar &Service
Develop solutions to environmental problems using the principles of science.
- Analyze water and air pollution control, recycling, waste disposal, and public health issues.
- Conduct hazardous-waste management studies to evaluate the hazard.
- Advise on the treatment and containment of the hazards, and develop regulations to prevent mishaps.
- Assess the design of water supply and wastewater treatment systems.
- Conduct research on the environmental impact of proposed construction projects, analyze scientific data, and perform quality-control checks.
- Assess environmental concerns with local and worldwide environmental installations.
- Study and attempt to minimize the effects of acid rain, global warming, vehicle emissions, and ozone depletion.
- Facilitate the protection of wildlife.
- Ensure environmental compliance with regulations, to prevent environmental damage, and to clean up hazardous sites.
- Review and Analyze Environmental Data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Must have the following:
- Applicant should have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, or some related Environmental Science. The applicant should also have at least 6 years experience in managing environmental compliance projects.
- Knowledge of environmental functions, such as Environmental Management Systems (EMS); environmental regulatory compliance; management of hazardous materials/waste; air quality; water quality; energy conservation principles and practices; pollution prevention; or waste programs.
