PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT-ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND TRANSPORTATION

The Select Group is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented person for a Principal Consultant role focusing on Electric Vehicles and Transportation. Responsibilities will focus on expanding business opportunities in the electric vehicle (EV), plug hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) market areas. Efforts will involve integration of EV/PHEVs into electricity grid, business case analysis, market impacts of electric vehicles, and utilization of electric vehicle battery.

Main Responsibilities:
•Expanding business opportunities in the area of Electric Vehicle/Plug Hybrid Electric Vehicle industry
•Working with clients on project implementation
•Proposal writing
•Attending and presenting at conferences on electrical storage area
•Maintaining existing client relationships

Qualifications:
•5 years experience in auto or electric power train industry
•Background in either auto industry, EV/PHEV testing, or vehicle battery manufacturing
•Understanding of Utility and Electricity markets
•Understanding of electric vehicle industry, integration challenges, and potential charging infrastructure needs
•Strong multi-tasking skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•BSEE degree or BS Chemistry. Masters levels or above preferred.
